Ray Estes

Ray Estes, 78, of Birmingham, Iowa passed away this morning, April 8, 2010 at the Jefferson County Health Center.

Family visitation will be from 12:00-1:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Graveside memorial services will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Rock Creek Cemetery, near Ollie.

Ray was born on May 14, 1931 in Ollie, Iowa to Leslie and Edna Bond Estes. He graduated from Ollie with the class of 1949. He married Marilyn Hart on April 23, 1954 in Kahoka, Missouri. Ray was a self-employed, owner/operator truck driver.

Ray is survived by his wife, Marilyn, 2 sisters, Pat (Don) Chambers of Ollie and Betty Emmack of Wheat Ridge, Colorado and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by his parents, 1 brother, Keith Estes and 1 nephew, Richard Estes.
