Raymond L. Bowermaster

Raymond L. Bowermaster age 60, of Martinsburg, Iowa passed away Tuesday January 19, 2010 at his home.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Iowa with Pastor Frosty Van Voorst officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

According to his wishes the body has been cremated.

Visitation with family and friends will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, January 23, 2010 before the service at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Iowa.

Raymond L. Bowermaster was born June 17, 1949 to Robert and Maxine Linn Bowermaster in Keosauqua, Iowa. He married Cindy Chambers on July 7, 1971 in Fairfield, Iowa.

Raymond lived in the Martinsburg area for the last 20 years. He was a dispatcher at Perfect Answer for the last two years. He was a motorcycle enthusiast. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Raymond was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Patriot Guard Riders.

Raymond is survived by his wife Cindy of Martinsburg, Iowa, two sons and families Christopher (Kim) Bowermaster of Bowling Green, Missouri, and Scott (Dana) Bowermaster of Fairfield, Iowa, seven grandchildren, two sisters and three brothers: Bertie (Gerald) Williams of Fairfield, Iowa, Lori (Stan) Van Blaricome of Lockridge, Iowa, Nick Bowermaster of Mt. Zion, Iowa, Bill (Joyce) Bowermaster of Kansas City, Missouri, and Lance (Sabine) Bowermaster of Tennessee.

Raymond was preceded in death by his parents and father-in-law Russell (Ike) Chambers.
