Rennard Del Ray Cook

Memorial Services were held 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 25, 2005 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Iowa. Family Visitation was held at 10:00 AM, preceding the service.

Rennard Del Ray Cook was born January 1, 1961 in Davenport, Iowa. He was the son of Alvey Noble and Eva Rozina (Edler) Cook. Rennard married Christina Hawkins on August 19, 1977 and they were later divorced. He married Julie Heckethorn in Davenport, IA on December 1, 1993.

Rennard lived on the Fairfield and Davenport communities. He was employed as a welder for Signature Construction. Rennard was a member of VFW #2271 and Eagles #1927, both in Fairfield, IA. He enjoyed restoring old cars and was a member of pool leagues in both Fairfield and Davenport, winning many tournaments.

He is survived by his wife Julie and their children, Dalton and Harley of the home, daughters; Shari Jo Cook-Bowman & Husband Robert of Fairfield, Kassie & Steve Mercer of Buffalo, IA and son Matthew Cook of Davenport, IA. Rennard was grandfather to Aspen Payne Bowman, Kristopher Mercer and Morgan Mercer. Survivors also include his brothers; Roger Cook of Fairfield, Randy Cook of Davenport and Rocky Cook, also of Fairfield, IA.

His body was cremated.
