Richard Allen Burmeister

Richard Allen Burmeister, 57, of Fairfield, Iowa died February 27, 2010 at the Jefferson County Hospital.

He was born October 24, 1952 in Urbana, Illinois to Patricia Taylor Burmeister and Richard Wayne Burmeister. He married Frances Marian Ascoli on March 24, 1979.

A graduate of Urbana High School and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Richard received a Masters of Computer Science in 1984. He and Frances moved to Fairfield in 1987.

The loves of his life were his wife and his music. He was deeply devoted to making the world a better place.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Maharishi University of Management in Fairfield, Iowa. Jai Guru Dev. Memorials mayb be sent to Frances Burmeister at 1120 E. Madison Ave, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

He is survived by his beloved wife, his parents, brother Charles L. Burmeister of White Heath, Illinois and his dear cat Mabel.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Charles and Addie Burmeister of Tuscola, Illinois and Jessie and Lawrence W. Taylor of Urbana, Illinois.
