Richard "Rick" Allen Griffin

Richard Allen Griffin, age 53, passed away February 19, 2011 at his home in Lockridge.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Diane Brokken officiating. Burial will be in McDowell Cemetery.

Open visitation for family and friends will be from 2-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Behner Funeral Home. The casket will be closed.

Richard was born December 28, 1957 to Raymond and Eleanor Persson Griffin Sr. in Staten Island, New York. He was a self employed painter, liked horses and country music and was a people person.

Richard is survived by 5 siblings: Raymond Griffin Jr. of Fairfield, Rose Keller of Bloomfield, Robert (Connie) Griffin of Fairfield, Sally (Stan) Heckethorn of Brighton and Susan (Gary) Lueth of Curtiss, Wisconsin and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
