Robert Bruce Dimmitt

Robert B. Dimmitt age 80, of 2237 Highway 34 East died 7:45 p.m. Friday January 5, 2007 at Jefferson County Hospital.

Private Graveside Funeral Services were 10:00 a.m. Tuesday January 9, 2007 at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield with Rev. Keevin Koch officiating. Burial followed the service.

Robert Bruce Dimmit was born Jan. 11, 1926 to Clyde Wilbur and Eva Jewel Mitchell Dimmitt. He lived all his life in the Fairfield area, and for the last 3 months he lived at Parkview Care Center with his previous residence at ResCare.

Survivors include one brother,Glen (Bud) & (Erma) Dimmitt of Fairfield,IA and one sister, Rose Ann Dimmitt of Fairfield,IA as well as several nieces and nephews.

Robert was preceeded by his parents, one sister Ruth Jeannette Franklin,and three brothers: William, Lester, and Clyde Dimmitt.
