Robert Lee Gerleman

Robert Lee Gerleman, age 54, passed away May 27, 2010 at the Story County Hospital in Nevada, Iowa.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 29, 2010 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father John Spiegel officiating.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Following internment, there will be a lunch at Eagles Lodge.

Family visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., with prayers at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 28, 2010 at St. Mary's.

Robert was born in Mt. Pleasant on August 26, 1955 to Edwin and Darlene Stevens Gerleman. He married Shiela Jean Boyd on September 18, 1982.

Robert worked as a Mechanical Contractor for LA Fulton and Sons of Des Moines for 35 years.

He is survived by his mother Darlene Gerleman of Mt. Pleasant, his wife Shiela Gerleman of Fairfield, 1 son Chad Heisel of Salt Lake City, Utah, 1 daughter Charity (Ted) Richardson of Libertyville, 3 brothers Jim (Myrna) Gerleman, Tom (Kim) Gerleman and Ron (Krista) Gerleman, all of Lockridge, 4 sisters Ann (Jerry) Johnson of Nixa, Missouri, Cathy (John) Kessel of Fairfield, Barb (Larry) Neff of Lockridge and Sandy (Steve) Spees of Fairfield and 2 grandchildren Tate Robert Richardson and Voss Drilling Richardson.

Robert was preceded in death by his father.
