Roger Lee Anderson, died of accident April 13, 2006 at his farm in Brighton. He was 55.
Funeral services were held 10:00 AM, Wednesday, April 19, 2006, at the Salina Presbyterian Church with Rev. Clarence Anderson, Father Charles Fladung and Rev. Robert Wolf officiating. Burial followed in Salina Cemetery. Luncheon was served in Germanville by the Ladies Society of Hope Lutheran Church of Germanville.

Roger Lee Anderson was born in Mt. Pleasant, IA on June 7, 1950, the son of Merlyn D. and Emma Kay (Smith) Anderson.
Roger lived all his life in Walnut Township. He was a graduate of Fairfield High School Class of 1969. Roger was a self-taught farmer and mechanic. He was a member of Salina Presbyterian Church and Farm Bureau. Roger was a special friend to many children in the neighborhood.
Survivors include three brothers, three sisters and their families: Roy Anderson of Brighton, IA, Richard Anderson of Storm Lake, IA, Elaine Anderson of Des Moines, IA, Phyllis Hird of Brighton, IA, Robert Anderson of Brighton, IA and Kathleen Anderson of Brighton. Roger was uncle to five nieces, 1 great-niece, 1 great-nephew and many step-nieces and -nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents.
