Ronald Duane Glaus

Ronald Duane Glaus, age 65 of Cantril, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2012.

His body has been cremated and a private service will be held at a later date.

Ronald was born on August 28, 1947 in Dubuque, Iowa to Leslie and Georgia Stone Glaus. He married Paulette Slaughter on April 5, 2012.

He served 3 years in Vietnam and had been a Laborer for the Laborers Local Union.

He is survived by his wife: Paulette, 3 children: Lisa Sierra, Jeanna Vargas and Sara, all of Colorado, 4 step-children: Penny Letts and DJ Haynes of Fairfield, Stephanie Statler of Burlington and Paul Hoadley of Storm Lake, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 4 siblings: Ken Glaus of Cedar Rapids, Cheryle Griffin of Anamosa, Kevin Glaus of Cedar Rapids and Mary Rae Vinson of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Leslie and Georgia Glaus and 1 brother: Tom Glaus.
