Ron Headley, age 56, of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2007 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, IA.

Family visitation will be held 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, October 19, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM, Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Metz officiating. Interment will follow in Wright Cemetery.

Ronald Craig Headley was born December 28, 1950 in Fairfield, IA. He was the son of "Bud" and Betty (Peters) Headley. Ron graduated from Fairfield High School in 1969 and attended Parsons College. He was married to Jeri Lee Forinash and they later divorced.

Ron was self-employed as a farmer and a truck driver. He was an avid Hawkeye fan, as well as NASCAR, and tractor-pulling. He enjoyed spending time with his family and his friends, and his hobbies included his Great Dane dogs, and watching John Wayne movies..

Ron is survived by his children and their families: Jody Headley of Hot Springs, AR, Mindy Headley of Overland Park, KS, and Craig Headley and wife Devon of Birmingham, IA. He was grandfather to one step-grandson, Brian Hervey. Survivors include two sisters: Ange Lee of Wellman, IA, and Kelly Hahn of Fairfield, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
