Ronald Edmund Taglauer

Ronald Edmund Taglauer, age 76 of Fairfield, passed away at his home October 30, 2013.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Saturday, November 2, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church, Germanville, Iowa with Pastor Jordon Cooper officiating. Burial will be prior to the service at the Hope Lutheran Cemetery, Germanville, IA.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm, Friday, November 1, 2013 at Hope Lutheran Church, Germanville, Iowa.

Ronald Edmund Taglauer was born August 8, 1937 to Edmund G. and E. Mildred (Lynn) Taglauer in Germanville, IA. He married A. Nadine Guy February 20, 1960 at Hope Lutheran Church, Germanville, IA.

Ronald lived in Fairfield and Germanville area all his life. He worked at Fairfield Engineering, Crane Valve in Washington, Iowa, Wayland Carpenter Shop and Taglauer Construction. Ronald was a member of Hope Lutheran Church; Full Gospel Businessman's Association and was in the reserves for 6 months.

Survivors include his wife; A Nadine (Guy) Taglauer, 4 sons; Mark (Laura) Taglauer of Brighton, IA, Brian (Sherry) Taglauer of Fairfield, IA, Matthew (Cheri) Taglauer of Fairfield, IA and Marty Taglauer and Omar Leos of San Antonio, TX, 7 grandchildren; Trent, Mitchell, Courtney, Whitney, Brandon, Bridget (Travis) and Addison, 2 great grandchildren; Miley and Kandyce, 2 siblings; Richard L. Taglauer of Wayland, IA and Karen Alderman of Iowa City, IA, and many nieces and nephews.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents.
