Ruth E. Hawthorne 94, passed away Tuesday, January 31, 2012 in PeeWee Valley, Kentucky.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday February 3, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Iowa with Rev. Joseph Phipps officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery .
Visitation for family and friends will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Behner Funeral home.

Ruth born October 2, 1917 in Fairfield, Ia. to Thomas and Laura Carson Allen.
She worked as an editorial Proofreader for Dexter co. for 43 years.She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Ruth is survived by Nephews and Nieces: Louis Coons, Michael Coons, Gregory Coons, Margaret Dorsey, Daniel Coons, Patrick Coons and Rose Ann Pickett.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, son Bruce hawthorne and sister Thelma L. Coons.
