Sally Jo Schock

Sally Jo Schock, age 78, passed away at Parkview Care Center on August 31, 2010.

Family visitation will be Thursday, September 2, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home, from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to Hospice Campassus and sent to 2560 200th St. Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Sally was born on March 15, 1932 in Keokuk, to Howard and Ruth Thomas Barnes. She married Kenneth Schock on November 6, 1953 in Keokuk and they later divorced.

She was a homemaker and had worked at Loudens, J&B Plastics and Best Western and retired in 1987. She enjoyed her family, grandchildren and friends. She also enjoyed reading.

Sally is survived by 1 daughter: Kathy Jo (Harold) Hahn of Fairfield, 2 grandchildren: Michelle Buch of Fairfield and Anthony Buch of Osceola, 1 great grandchild: Kelsie Jo Moore of Fairfield and 1 brother: Tom (Jan) Barnes of Keokuk.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Dick Barnes and Robert Barnes in infancy and 1 son in infancy.
