Sarah Nicole (Niki) Perkins

Niki Perkins passed away on May 30, 2010 near Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 5, 2010 at the Fairfield Middle School with Pastor Len Maselli officiating. Burial of cremains will be at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Noah's Ark Animal Foundation or the Perkins family and sent to Bill and Erika Perkins at 802 Grand Park Drive, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Niki was born in La Paz, Bolivia on September 11, 1997 to Bill and Erika Perkins. She lived in the Fairfield area most of her life.

Niki attended 7th grade at the Fairfield Middle School, where she was a member of the band, cheerleading squad and volleyball team. She was an honor roll student and a member of the Student Council.

Niki is survived by her parents, Bill and Erika Perkins, of Fairfield, a brother, Patrick Perkins, of Des Moines, grandparents, Carlos and Cristina Crespo of Bolivia, aunts and uncles, Willie Grizzel, Luann & Bruce Younker, Jay Perkins, Mary & Dennis Waugh, Sandra & Luis Alberto Tristan, Carla & Jorge Pereira and cousins, Lori, Lisa, Amy, Dana, Ryan, April, Laura, Zaira, Ana Lucia, Mariana & Nicolas.

Niki was very proud of all of her international travels and proud of her Bolivian-American heritage. Niki will be remembered fondly and missed by all who knew her.
