Scott Richard Deutsch,age 52, of Richland, Iowa, lost his 12 year battle with cancer on April 14, 2011, with his family by his side

Funeral Services will be 10:30 A.M. Tuesday April 19, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain. with Father Bob Streigel and Father Lou Lenhart officiating. Burial will be at Richland Friends Cemetery in Richland, Ia. Followed by a luncheon at Mother Cabrini Hall in Richland.
Visitation for family and friends will be 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. Monday April 18, 2011 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in East Pleasant Plain with Prayers for the Christian wake at 7:30 p.m.
Memorials can be made to Hospice of Iowa, Richland First Responders.

Scott Richard Deutsch was born Dec. 1, 1958 in Fairfield to Joe R. and Kathryn Leppert Deutsch. He attended Fairfield Community Schools. He moved to Sturgis,MI. where he was plant manager for Sturgis Molded Products. He moved back to the area in 2006.

Scott is survived by his two sons, Cody of Kalamazoo and Trevor of Mishawaka, Ind. his fiancee, Connie Outman of Mendon, his Parents, and Siblings, Kirk (Shelley) Deutsch of Iowa City, Kraig (Cathy) Deutsch of Packwood, Ia. Paula (John) Hecox of Auburn Hills, MI. Don (Kim) Deutsch of Ollie, Ia. Carla (Brian ) Stone of Richland, Ia. Gina (Andrew) Wells of Richland, Ia. 12 Nieces and nephews; and 2 great-nephews.

Scott was preceded by his grandparents Joseph and Margaret Deutsch , Donald and Alice Leppert, and a cousin Kelly Langan.
