Scott William Eland

Scott William Eland age 64 of Keosauqua, passed away Monday, July 27, 2020, at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics.

There will be a celebration of life with family and friends at the Walton Club, August 15, 2020 starting at 4:00 pm.

Scott was born December 17, 1955, in Mt. Pleasant, IA to Richard and Shirley (Kask) Eland.  He married Carol Jane Shriver in Fairfield on April 9, 1983.

Scott worked at Omniflight as a Helicopter mechanic for 8 years and at Agri Industrial as a robot technician 26 years.   Scott was an outdoors person and loved to fish and go canoeing.  He also enjoyed playing cards.  Most important to Scott was being able to spend time with his family.

Scott will be missed by his wife of 37 years, Carol of Keosauqua; 3 children, Kelly (Adam) Plummer of West Des Moines, Richard (Elizabeth) Eland of Fairfield and Robert (Raela) Eland of Boone; 6 granddaughters, Annabelle, Madison, Whitley, Josephine, Windsor, and Murphy; his sisters, Lezlie Eland of Fairfield, Kimberly Filz of Hamilton, IL and Laura Kaska of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Shirley.
