Sharon Jean Thompson

Sharon Jean Thompson, age 66 of Deep River, passed away Sunday, March 25, 2012 at her son's home in Fairfield.

Services were held Tuesday, April 3, 2012 at First Baptist Church in What Cheer, Iowa.

Sharon was born September 12, 1945 in Toledo, Ohio to James Leo and Jean Elizabeth Goddard McGurk. She married Warren Dean Thompson in 1964.

Sharon is survived by her husband, 3 sons: James (Sarah) Thompson of Grinnell, Shawn (Stacey) Thompson of What Cheer and Kelly (Amy) Thompson of Fairfield, 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and 2 sisters: Eirin Maynard of Shafter, California and Rhoda Long (McGurk) of Bakersfield, California.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
