Shauna Kay Ellis

Shauna Kay Ellis age 42 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, June 12, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Visitation for family & friends will be 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m., Friday, June 16, 2023, at Behner Funeral Home.  A celebration of life will follow the visitation starting at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor Danny Cary officiating.  Inurnment will be in Hillsboro Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Pauline Ellis, 703 West Harrison, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Shauna was born November 19, 1980, in Fairfield to Donald and Pauline (Holmes) Ellis Sr.  She worked daycare for 20 years. Shauna enjoyed the Chicago Bulls, Iowa Hawkeyes, stock car racing and WWE wrestling.  Some of her other interests were reading and listening to country music.

She will be missed by her daughter, Caley Haynes of Fairfield; parents, Donald and Pauline Ellis of Fairfield; two brothers, Donnie Ellis Jr and Tommy (Lisa) Ellis both of Fairfield; and aunts, uncles and nieces.

Shauna was preceded in death by her son, Clayton Moore Haynes.
