Sherry L. Jennings

Sherry Lynn Jennings, 55, a resident of Fairfield, passed away Monday, September 30, 2024 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the VFW, 121 E. Broadway in Fairfield. Memorials may be made to the family. 

 Sherry was born September 30, 1969 in Iowa City, the daughter of Paul and Bonnie (Sanderson) Kempf. 

 Sherry enjoyed diamond painting, crossword puzzles, collecting trinkets, and spending time with her grandchildren. 

 Those left to honor her memory include her daughters, Ashley Kempf and Summer Helmick, both of Fairfield; step-son, Jesse Boyd of Fairfield; step-daughter, Arianna Teague of Valley, Alabama; grandchildren, Jazmine, MyCole, Eretrea, and Zayden; her father, Paul Kempf of Hillsboro; brothers, Kevin Kempf and Paul Kempf; and sisters, Bobby Jo Perian and Polly Kempf. 

 She was preceded in death by her mother.
