Sherry Dee Scotton

Sherry Dee Scotton, age 68 of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2011 at her home.

There will not be any visitation or viewing.

The family will hold a private graveside service on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Pittsburg Cemetery.

Sherry was born on October 13, 1943 in Mt. Pleasant to Hugh William and Lucille Marie DeVore Baldwin. She married Cecil Edward Scotton on September 5, 1963 at the Free Methodist Church. He passed away on January 16, 1997.

She was a night janitor at the Fairfield High School for many years, until her retirement.

Sherry is survived by 3 sons: Cecil Scotton Jr., Nathan Scotton and Christopher Scotton, all of Fairfield, 1 aunt and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 sister: Lynette Williams.
