Sherry Lou Stone

Sherry Lou Stone, age 64 of Linby passed away Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Jefferson County Health Center.

Memorial Service will be 10:30 am Friday, May 24, 2013 at Packwood Christian Church, Packwood, Iowa with Pastor Frosty Van Voorst officiating. Burial of Cremains will be at a later date.

Visitation for family and friends will be Thursday, May 23, 2013 at the Packwood Christian Church, Packwood, Iowa from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established for "Disabled Veterans". Cards and Memorials can be mailed to 1088 Linby Street, Packwood, IA 52580.

According to her wishes her body has been cremated.

Sherry was born January 23, 1949 in Ottumwa, IA to William and Loretta Barber Deeds. She married Thomas R Stone March 16, 1968 in Eldon, IA.

She graduated from Cardinal High School class of 1967. She has lived in the Packwood area for the past 45 years. She was a housewife, mother and an avid supporter to all the boys and their families of Pekin sports.

Sherry is survived by her husband: Thomas Stone, 3 children: Brian (Carla) Stone of Fairfield, IA, Crista (David) Harper of Packwood, IA and William "Willie" (Sarah) Stone of Corning, IA, 6 Grandchildren: Dalton Stone, Leslie Stone, Noah Stone, Jade Harper, Caleb Schwab and Nic Stone, her parents: William and Loretta Deeds, 3 brothers: Michael Deeds of Hideaway, TX, Ronald Deeds of Granbury, TX and Scott Deeds of Colorado Springs

She was preceded in death by one grandson: Ezekiel Harper.
