Shirley Jean Barber Bradley, age 82, of Fairfield, IA. died Tuesday June 23, 2009 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield, IA.

Visitation with family will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday June 25, 2009 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Ia.

Funeral Services will be held 10:00 AM, Friday June 26, 2009 at Behner Funeral Home with Rev. Rick Fielder and Rev. Dave Albert officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Shirley Jean Bradley was born in Jefferson County on June 22, 1927 to Robert L. and Eva M. (Reed) Barber. She was united in marriage to Jimmie Fredrick Bradley on June 24, 1945 at the First Christian Church in Fairfield. He died April 11, 1996. Shirley has lived in Fairfield for the last 4 years, with prior residence in Libertyville for 45 years. Shirley and her husband owned and operated S & J Ceramics in Libertyville, Ia. from 1972 to 1993. She was of the Baptist faith.

She is survived by children and their families: David Alan Bradley of Muscatine,IA, and Robbin DeAnn Bradley Ehret of Libertyville, IA. Shirley was blessed with three grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren. Survivors include one sister Ila Thomas of Port Richey, FL, and one brother, Leo Barber of Keosauqua, IA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son Danny Joe Bradley , daughter-in-law, and 1 son inlaw; three sisters: Evelyne Barber, Zeralda Barber, Beverly Winters; two brothers: John Barber, and Robert Barber; and grandson Travis Bradley.
