Funeral services was held 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Thomas Shipley officiating.

Shirley Adelaide Forke Mackon Millhouse was born May 14, 1935 in Pipestone, Manitoba, Canada. She was the birth daughter of George Forke and Isabel Hall, and was later adopted by Alexander and Annie (Hall) Mackon. Shirley was a graduate of Denby High School in Detroit, Michigan.
Shirley married Robert Millhouse February 9, 1954 in Ottumwa, Iowa. He passed away January 6, 1991.
Shirley was employed as a certified nurse's aide at Nelson Nursing Home for 7 years, and a clerk at Wal-Mart for 6 years.
Shirley is survived by her children and their families: Debra & Jerry Smith of Fairfield, IA, Robert, Jr. & Dorothy Millhouse of Batavia, IA, Ronald & Juanita Millhouse of Ottumwa, IA, Karen & Lon Giberson, Sr. of Agency, IA, Kevin & Dawn Edler of Toronto, IA, Les & Rhonda Edler of Moline, IL, Randy Cox of Texas, Douglas & Julie Millhouse of Fairfield, IA and Linda & Leonard Fenner of Jesup, IA. Shirley had 30 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two brothers and a sister: Gordon Forke and Ann Miller of Pipestone, Manitoba and Tom McCrindle of Wisconsin.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, birth and adopted parents, sisters Verna Fairburn, Ethel Forke, brother George Forke, twin grandsons: Russell & Robert Millhouse and grandson Jason Giberson.
