Steven C. Rodibaugh

Steven C. Rodibaugh 66 of rural Libertyville, Iowa passed away on March 19, 2016 after spending the day with his family.

Steve battled multiple types of Lymphoma and Leukemia for the past 5 years. Steve was born on October 22, 1949 to Lester and Bernice (Taylor) Rodibaugh. Steve graduated from Fairfield High School in 1967.

Steve served in the US Army from 1969-1971, during this time he was stationed in Germany.
On April 18th, 1970 Steve married Colleen (Fields) Rodibaugh at the United Methodist Church in Fairfield.

He spent all of his life in the Libertyville area and the past 26 years fulfilling one of his lifelong dreams of owning a farm.

Steve worked at ILECO, Rockwell/Meritor and finally for Ferrellgas serving both Jefferson and Van Buren counties, he positively impacted everyone that he came in contact with.

Steve enjoyed being on the farm with his wife and family. He was an avid hunter and a fisherman; he especially enjoyed being on the Des Moines River catching catfish with his wife Colleen. Steve also enjoyed his cows, NASCAR, baseball, softball, football, feeding the wildlife and watching old westerns, but most of all, he loved his pets.

He is survived by his wife Colleen, two sons, Dustin (Jessica) Rodibaugh of Keosauqua, Brandon (Linda) Rodibaugh of Libertyville, eight grandchildren Brittan, Zachary, Mekenzie, Hunter, Gari, Devin, Nyle and Mahayla. Brother Ron of Searsboro, IA and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jerry Rodibaugh and sister Karen Stump.
Cremation will be handled by Behner Funeral Home, private services will be held at a later time.

The family would like anyone that wishes to pay respects to Steve and the family to attend a Memorial Luncheon that will be held Saturday, March 26th at the Eagles Lodge, 1707 S. Main in Fairfield from 2-4PM.
