Steven "Steve" Richard Phillips

Steven “Steve” Richard Phillips age 68 of Fairfield, passed away April 17, 2023, at the Keosauqua Health Care Center.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Jeff Phillips, 1300 West Jackson, Lot 33, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Steve was born March 19, 1955, in Keosauqua to Richard and Donna (McClure) Phillips.

Steve worked as a laborer at Dexter, Iowa Malleable and also volunteered as an umpire for the Little League.  He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing since he was 12.

Steve will be missed by his father, Richard; siblings, Jeff Phillips of Fairfield, Debbie McClure and Janet Edwards both of Ottumwa, and Tereas Colasuonno of McDonough, GA; and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was preceded in death by his mom, Donna; one sister, Crystal Cline; one brother, Gary Hoover; and a nephew, Daniel Robinson.
