Suzy Jean Riley Morrison

Suzy Jean Riley Morrison, age 67, of Douds, Iowa, passed away peacefully, to join her family members in the house of the Lord, on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at the home of Daniel and Maria Ingle.

She was born on April 10, 1952 in Warrensburg, Missouri to Charles and Eula Stoneking Riley. She married Eugene Elloid Morrison on February 11, 1994 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Suzy lived in Las Vegas and managed Whiskey Pete’s Hotel and Casino after her marriage to Eugene. They later moved to the Douds area.

Suzy was one of the sweetest, caring and giving people that anyone would ever have the privilege of meeting. She was never judgmental of the people she met and took them into her life unselfishly.

Children and animals sensed Suzy’s sweet and caring personality and were drawn to her kindness and caring ways.

Suzy enjoyed gardening, nature, hiking, garage sales, looking for bargains and treasures, and children.

Suzy was an amazing woman who was blessed with many talents. She was a very knowledgeable woman when it came to knowing about mechanics and building. Suzy was a very unique woman.

Suzy is survived by her daughters Patricia Smith and Sandra Munley, several grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by good friends Daniel, Maria, and Lea Ingle, and Anita Corry.

Suzy was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene, her parents, and her five siblings.
