Thomas “Tom” Michael Keeley Jr. age 71 of Fairfield, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 at Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN.

Funeral Service will be 10:30 am, Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA.

Tom was born July 30, 1944 to Thomas and Wanda (Anderson) Keeley in Mt. Pleasant, IA. He married Linda Waugh December 14, 1991 in Fairfield, IA.

Tom attended Mt. Pleasant school district through the end of his sophomore year and then moved to Delhi, IA where he graduated from Maquoketa Valley High School. He moved to Fairfield in 1964. Tom worked at Dexter for 27 years until he retired in 2003 and was the grounds keeper at Walton Club. He was a member of the Walton Club, Elks Lodge and VFW. Tom liked golfing and watching the St. Louis Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Hawkeyes.

Tom is survived by his wife, Linda Keeley of Fairfield, IA; his children, Kevin (Patti) Keeley of Oklahoma City, OK, Kristin (Brennen) Petie of Portland, OR, Robyn (Dale) Nolting of West Branch, IA and Mark (Heather) Swan of Fairfield, IA; 10 grandchildren, Allison Keeley, Drew Nolting, Ryan Booth, Madelyn Swan, Meghan Nolting, Darby Booth, A.J. Nolting, Joli Anne Swan, Chance Swan and Henry Swan; three sisters, Jorene Keller, Joyce (Jim) Thomas and Chris (Pat) Coghlan.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Wanda Keeley; one sister, Peggy Helmick; and one brother-in-law, Charlie Keller.
