Thomas Thomson Jr

Thomas Thomson age 72, of Pleasant Plain, passed away February 9, 2007 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.

Funeral Services for Thomas Thomson were held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday February 13, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Hughes Officiating. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, IA.

Thomas was the son of Thomas and Muriel Celeste (Ulm) Thomson. He married Carolyn Moore Dec. 1, 1967 and later divorced. Thomas married Rosemary Coulter on February 14, 1991.

Thomas was a farmer and worked at Dexter Co. and Pinkerton. He enjoyed antique tractors and Sports. He was a member of Brighton First Church of God.

Thomas is survived by his wife Rosemary Thomson of Pleasant Plain, Iowa, and his children and their families; John & Paula Thomson of Decatur,IL, Michelle & Gene VanNess of Fairfield,IA, and Muriel "Dawn" Thomson of Fairfield, IA, and stepson Rick Doty of Decatur, IL. Thomas has three grandchildren and five stepgrandchildren. One sister, Margaret Thomson, of Libertyville, IA, also survives.

Thomas was preceded by his parents, 1 brother in infancy, and 3 grandchildren.
