Thomas "Tom" David Houston

Thomas “Tom” David Houston age 74 of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at his home.

There will not be any service at this time.

Tom was born December 2, 1948, in Calvary, Maryland to Paul and Margaret (Dillard) Houston.  He married Linda Sue Baker on May 31, 1975.  This year they would have been married 48 years.

Tom served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War and retired from the service as a mechanic.  After Tom retired from the service he drove a school bus in Mesa, Arizona.   They have lived in Fairfield for 11 years.  Tom loved to play pranks and was a jokester. He never met anybody he didn’t like.  Tom was a avid hunter, fisherman and played pool.  He was a great husband, father, and grandpa.

Tom will be missed by his wife, Linda; three sons, Daniel (Cindy) Houston of Texas, Douglas Houston of Arizona and David (Heather) Houston of Fairfield; 7 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; five brothers; two sisters; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Margaret.
