Timothy "Tim" Alan Winland

Timothy “Tim” Alan Winland, age 54 of Fairfield, went home to our Lord on May 25, 2023.

Visitation for family & friends will be 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 31, 2023, at Behner Funeral Home.

A funeral service will follow the visitation starting at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Craig Zuithoff officiating.  Following the service, he will be cremated.

Memorials may be made to the family and mailed to Sheri Winland, 705 South 2nd Street, Fairfield, Iowa 52556.

Tim was born August 13, 1968, to Clifford Lee and Kathy Sue (Heckethorn) Winland.  He married Sheryl Marie Knudson October 13, 2001 in Racine, WI

After high school Tim served in the Marines.  He moved back to Fairfield in 1989 and worked most recently at Harper Brush.  Tim served as a deacon for many years at Living Stones Fellowship Church.   His interests included deer hunting, fishing, painting, wood burning, collecting stamps and coins, and taking pictures of sunsets.

He will be missed by his wife, Sheri Winland; his children, Christina Winland and TJ Winland; his parents, Clifford and Kathy Winland; and brother, Jay Winland.

Tim was preceded in death by his grandparents, Chuck and Ruth Winland and Mervin and Bessie Heckethorn; and niece Jaynce Winland.
