GRAVESIDE FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD 11:00 AM, SATURDAY, MARCH 4, 2006 AT MT. MORIAH CEMETERY NEAR DOUDS, IOWA. Rev. Dave Peterson officiated.

Vera Lucile Tedrow was born September 5, 1918 in Libertyville, Iowa. She was the daughter of Ruben and Cora (Brown) Cubbage. Lucile married George Vern Tedrow in Batavia, Iowa on June 30, 1936. They were the parents of four children: Grace, Marilyn, George and Arthur.

Lucille was employed at Iowa Ordinance Plant in Burlington, IA and Metromail in Mt. Pleasant, IA before her retirement.

Lucile is survived by her children and their families: Grace Chambers of Santa Fe, NM, Marilyn McCoy of Kansas City, KS, George Tedrow of Booneville, MO and Arthur Tedrow of Denmark, IA. Lucille was grandmother to seven and had several great-grandchildren. Survivors include two sisters and two brothers: Violet Hyde of Clarksville, TN, Irene Adams of Snohomish, WA, Eugene Cubbage and Robert Cubbage, both of Libertyville.

Lucile was preceded in death by her parents, and by her husband, George Vern Tedrow who passed away June 6, 1988.
