At Vivian's request, there was no family visitation. A memorial graveside service of the cremains was held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, June 4, 2005 at Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield, Iowa, with Elder Bill Waldron officiating.

Vivian A. Bloomquist was born on March 21, 1922 in Grove City, Pennsylvania. She was the daughter of William and Lettie (Lightner) Wiseman.
Vivian was married to Max L. Bloomquist on December 19, 1942 in Kahoka, Missouri. They were the parents of four children, sons Butch, Ron and Lonnie and one daughter, Caren. Max died June 2, 2002. Vivian was a homemaker and was employed at the Good Samaritan Center in Keosauqua, IA. She was a member of the Kingdon Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Fairfield.
Survivors include her children and their families; Butch Bloomquist of Fairfield, IA, Ron Bloomquist of Birmingham, IA and Lonnie Bloomquist of Promise City, IA. Vivian was grandmother to David, Daniel, Brian, Derek, Amber and Brady. Also surviving are two sisters; Ruth Calhoun and Marlene Domenig of Des Moines, IA and one brother, Paul Wiseman of Grove City, PA.
Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Max, daughter Caren and one brother, Bob Wiseman.
