Vivian Crew

Vivian Crew, age 92, passed away at Sunnybrook Living Care Center on October 20, 2010.

Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 23, 2010 at Behner Funeral Home, with Pastor Suzanne Swahn officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery.

Family visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2010 from 7:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Behner Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), American Lung Association or Hospice and sent to Shirlene Conder 700 W. Alta Vista Lot #16 Ottumwa, Iowa 52501.

Vivian was born October 4, 1918 in Van Buren County, to Sidney Seth and TheoDoshia Ayers Harryman. She married Audubon C. Crew on December 24, 1938 in Memphis, Missouri. He passed away November 18, 1994.

Vivian graduated from Douds-Leando Consolidated High School in 1938. she was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ).

Vivian is survived by 1 daughter: Shirlene Conder (Jim Sloan) of Ottumwa, Iowa, 2 grandchildren: Neal (Kandy) Kunzman of Minden, Iowa, and Sherri (Tim) Barbic of Sarasota, Florida, 4 great grandchildren and 1 sister: Darlene (Edd) Felgar of Fairfield, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 1 daughter: Marlee Mineart and 2 sisters: Madoma Burford and Reva Dale.
