Wahl F. Parks, age 90, of Fairfield, IA, passed away Friday, February 23, 2007 at Parkview Care Center in Fairfield.

Funeral services were held 10:00 AM, Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield. Interment followed in Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Fairfield.

Wahl F. Parks was born in Fairfield, IA on June 5, 1917 to Ralph Baker and Grace (Kittle) Parks. He graduated from Fairfield High School with the Class of 1937, and lived all his life in the Fairfield community.

Wahl was united in marriage with Mildred Ain in LaGrange, IL on October 2, 1967. He was employed by the United Telephone Company as a crew foreman. Wahl was a lifetime member of Clinton Masonic Lodge AF & AM #15. His memberships included Walton Club and he was a 50-year member of Fairfield B.P.O.E. #1192.

Wahl is survived by his wife Mildred of Fairfield, step-daughter Karen Pierson of Western Springs, IL, three step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren. Survivors include his nephew, Jim Keltner of Henderson, NV.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife (Sheila), twin brother Paul Parks, and a sister Ruth Keltner.
