Wanda Mae Edler

Wanda Mae Edler, age 82 of Fairfield passed away Saturday, January 16th, 2016 at her home.

There will not be any service at this time.

Wanda was born April 29th, 1933 to Charles & Jennie (Havner) Edler.

Wanda lived most of her life in the Fairfield area.

Wanda was a caretaker most of her life taking care of special needs children. Mostly her nephews. Wanda loved cats, children, and doing word searches.

Wanda had no children but she was everyone's Nana. Her family took care of her in her home till the end of her life with the help of Hospice Compassus.

Wanda is survived by many nieces and nephews Randy Cook, Roger Cook, Angie Crino, Regina VanDeWalle, Patty Moore, Matthew Williams and Kassie Mercer, those in the area left who cared for her daily & she was their Nana are Shari Cook-Bowman (Bob), Dalton Cook, Harley Cook, Aspen Bowman, Hayden Bowman, Hailey Bowman, & Rocky Cook.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Jennie Edler , Uncle Lloyd Edler, all her siblings Louise Edler, Avis Edler, Eva Cook, Rex Edler, Maxine Jackson, Bud Edler, Esther Keen. She was also preceded in death by her nephew Renny Cook.
