Wanda Marie Tucker

Wanda Marie Tucker, age 87 of Fairfield, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at the Jefferson County Health Center.

There will be a graveside memorial service at 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 13, 2012 at Grant Cemetery, northwest of Rome, Iowa, with Pastor Stacy Grau officiating.

Wanda was born on November 30, 1924 in Rome, Iowa to Charles W. and Minnie F. Mattson Freeman. She married Willis C. Tucker on April 11, 1941 in Kahoka, Missouri and he passed away on May 19, 2009.

She was a homemaker and had lived in Des Moines for 23 years, prior to moving to Fairfield.

Wanda is survived by 1 sister: Dixie Matison of Fairfield and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and 1 brother: Charles Don Freeman.
