Wayne Marshall Keller

Wayne Marshall Keller, age 88, passed away on January 31, 2012 at Parkview Manor in Wellman, Iowa.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, February 4, 2012 at Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield, Iowa. Pastor Nate Nims will be officiating. Burial will be in Lockridge Cemetery.

Visitation for family and friends will be 6 to 7:30 pm Friday, February 3rd at Behner Funeral Home.

Wayne Marshall Keller was born on May 5, 1923 near Stockport, Iowa to Marshall and Hazel Olson Keller. On March 26, 1947 he married Faith Hope Statler at the Four Square Church in Fairfield. Wayne and Faith had two children, Richard W. Keller and Marilyn Keller Sebonia. Wayne attended school locally, farmed, and for over 20 years worked in the maintenance department for the Iowa Department of Transportation. He was affiliated with the Methodist Church. He also served in the Army during WW II and received the Purple Heart.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Faith, children: Richard (Fran) Keller of Kansas City, Missouri, and Marilyn (Mike) Sebonia of Naperville, Illinois, six grandchildren: Elizabeth Keller, Kevin Keller, Jessica Keller, Lisa Kirby, Brian Vehslage, Nathan Vehslage, two great-grandchildren, and one brother: Gerald Keller of Bonaparte, Iowa.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers: Verne and Harold Keller.
