Weston E. Weber, 68, of Argyle, IA, at the moment of his last breath, was ushered into Heaven from his home on December 16, 2008. His body has been cremated.
Visitation will be held 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Saturday, December 20, 2008 at Argyle Presbyterian Church in Argyle, IA. A memorial service will be conducted by Pastor Bill Willis at 6:00 PM. Inurnment will take place at Argyle Memorial Gardens at a later date.

Weston Edward Weber was born September 2, 1940 in New Boston, IA, the son of Edward V. and Bernice (Behner) Weber. He attended and graduated from New Boston Grade School, Argyle High School, Keokuk Junior College, and Iowa State University in Ames, IA. In high school and college, he participated in basketball and baseball. At Iowa State University, he continued his baseball career and received his teaching degree.
His teaching and coaching careers included Chadwick, IL, Oskaloosa, IA, Warsaw, IL, and Central Lee Schools. Wes finally settled in Argyle to pursue his other passion, which was farming with his dad and brother Dean.
Wes was a member of the New Boston Methodist Church, followed by a membership at the Argyle Presbyterian Church. As Wes grew to know, the most important thing one can do in life is to prepare for eternity in Heaven.
He is survived by his wife, June Weber of Argyle; two sons: Shane of Boone, IA, Alan of Carbondale, IL; two brothers: Gene of Des Moines, IA and Dean (Kathy) of Argyle; three sisters: Marilyn (Jack) Gardner of Kahoka, MO, Gerri (Ken) Lane of Rock Island, IL, Berni (Loren) Munson of Tucker, GA; two nieces, four nephews, four great-nieces, two great-nephews and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
