William "Bill" Singer

William “Bill” Douglas Singer, age 65 of Fairfield, Iowa, passed away June 20, 2015 at Jefferson County Health Center.

A Celebration of Life for Bill will be held July 11, 2015, Saturday, 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm at Eagles Club, Fairfield, IA.

Bill was born on January 27, 1950 in Fairfield to Carl Singer and Jacquline Northcutt. He married Kerry Lou Harris on August 8, 1970 and later divorced. Later He married Connie Knedler on October 8, 2005.

Bill Graduated from Fairfield High School in 1969 and in 1970 he graduated from Omaha Technical Institute. He was the owner and operator of B & C Sales and Service for the last 19 years. Bill was a member of the VFW and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Bill is survived by his wife, Connie Singer; one daughter, Heather Jo Singer (Tracy Cornell); four grandchildren, Douglas Singer, Shelby Cornell, Ashley Cornell and Jessica Cornell; two brothers, Jim (Kimberly) Singer and Ronald Singer; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
