William "Bill" Douglas Workman Sr., age 62 of Fairfield passed away May 15, 2013 at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics, Iowa City, IA.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm, Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory in Fairfield.

A Memorial Service will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, May 19, 2013 at Behner Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Danny Cary officiating. Burial will be after the service in Hillsboro Cemetery.

Per his wish the body has been cremated.

William was born September 11, 1950 to Charles Workman and Anna Barnett in Fairfield. He married Donna Scotton May 12, 1978 in Fairfield. He has lived in Fairfield his entire life.

William served in the Army during Vietnam War. He worked at Frontline Printing as a press operator assistant, and worked many years at FALCO and Iowa Malleable.

He was a member of the Eagles Club and VFW of Fairfield.

William is survived by his wife: Donna Workman of Fairfield, 2 children: Charles "Curtis" (Mayree) Workman of Fairfield, William Douglas Workman Jr. of Alamogordo, NM, 1 grandson: Dayson Workman, his Mother: Anna Workman, 1 sister: Kelly Williams of Ottumwa and 1 brother: Richard Workman of Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his father Charles Workman, Brother: Charles Workman and Sister: Sue Lowe.
