Willis Hollingsworth, 77, of Packwood passed away on February 2, 2006 at Jefferson County Hospital in Fairfield, IA.

Funeral Services were held 10:00 AM, Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the Ollie Baptist Church in Ollie, IA, with Pastor Connie Chartier officiating. Burial was in Packwood Cemetery.

Willis Hollingsworth was born September 28, 1928 in Ollie, Iowa, the son of Grant and Wilda (Conger) Hollingsworth. He lived all his life in the Ollie/Packwood area.

Willis married Dorothy May Guy on January 3, 1954 at the Ollie Baptist Church in Ollie. They are the parents of Paul, Glen, David, Linda, Robin and Lea Ann.

Willis and Dorothy farmed in Polk Township in Jefferson County. He was a member of the Iowa National Guard. Willis attended Ollie Baptist Church and held many positions in the church. He was also a member of the International Edsel Club.

Willis is survived by his wife, Dorothy, and their children and their families:
Paul Hollingsworth of Vine Grove, KY, Glen & Carol Hollingsworth of Hoffman Estates, IL, David & Jody Hollingsworth of Packwood, IA, Linda Snodgrass of Girard, IL, Robin & David Adams of Lamont, IA and Lea Ann & Mark Clark of Nicholasville, KY. Willis was grandfather to 16 and had 2 great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Betty Gott of Ollie, IA and Nell Patterson of Beresford, SD.

Willis is predeceased by his parents and one infant brother.
